Our company has been in business since 1967 under the same ownership. In 1986, the name changed to Land Care, Inc. I own the company and operate it with Larry Payne, who is the director of operations. Larry has been with the company since 1970, soon to be 49 years.

Land Care has created its own design/build niche for model homes, working primarily with housing developers in Southern California. The projects include single-family homes, condominiums, apartments, assisted-living facilities, parks and the related homeowner association areas. We install everything appurtenant to our landscaping contract, including flatwork, masonry, landscape carpentry, landscape lighting, irrigation, grading, drainage, and softscape. The bulk of our work is installed by our own employees.

Under the same roof and ownership as Land Care, we operate a separate landscape architectural firm called Professional Design Associates. As an efficient, medium-sized firm, we can provide our clients with extremely competitive rates, excellent response times, and quality design services. Professional Design Associates is committed to producing cost-effective and creative project designs that are equally economical to install and maintain.
